MEET DCROCK!/ LIZARD

Lizard is the founder of Tamale Tone Record.  He founded the label in November 2005.

He is the president of the label.  All ideas and artists signed to Tamale Tone are approved by him before being signed.

He is also the founder of the band EDGEWYLDE, who was the first ever Tamale Tone Artist, and has been in the band since 1998.  He writes and composes all his own original music and plays guitar, drums, bass, and also does the vocals and songwriting.

He has been a musician since age 8 and has a great knowledge of how the music industry works.  At age 18 he moved to Hollywood to better pursue his music career but came back in 2001.  It was then that he hooked up with talent agecy TALENT 2K  who helped launch the careers of such bands as GOOD CHARLOTTE.  He was with them for the better part of 3 months in 2002 until he wasn't happy with the results they were getting for his career.  He then started mailing out cassette demos to labels and was almost signed to CASTLE RECORDS in the summer of 2002.   But when that fell through he started refocusing on a move back to Hollywood.  It was in early 2005 that he moved back to California and began doing soundtrack work for adult films.

He has also played gigs on the East and West coasts and has been playing gigs since age 16 when he wasn't even old enough to be in clubs legally.

He is now selling his self titled EDGEWYLDE debut CD on Tamale Tone Records.  And it includes the song  "BLUE"  that has received radio airplay on college stations.

He also stars in the weekly web show L TV . Also will start being a reporter for ROCK JOURNAL NETWORK in the coming months.

He is 26 years old and currently resides in the North Carolina area of the Tamale Tone Division.
